The Upside of AI Killing Us All
There may be an upside to the idea that AI is going to kill us all in a year. (Don’t tell me you haven’t thought about it in the last few weeks!)
My boyfriend and I tried a thought experiment: What would we change if there were a 10% chance we had one year left?
This is not a forecast. It’s a game.
In this game, there’s still a 90% chance you’ll need your 401(k) in 2028. So what would you do differently if you knew there was a non-zero chance we’re all going to die thanks to our new AI overlords?
My list included more time with my mother, living room dance parties, prayer, and finally getting that six-pack.
