Hello Culture Leaders. This is your culture challenge for the week.

Call one person or two people and ask them if they need anything. Don’t have any agenda. Don’t try and get something in return. Just call someone that is in your network and ask them if you can serve them.

Too often we are focused on what we can get from people and when we call people, we have an agenda, we have something that we need and that can be tiresome. It can also be pretty off-putting to folks. So, if you want to expand your network in a meaningful way and you want to be fulfilled in your workplace culture, then be someone who can fulfill that for others.

Reach out to someone and just say, “Hey, I was just thinking about you. The work that you do here is really important. Is there anything that you need from me right now that could help you be more successful?” Period. And see what happens.
