Start a meeting with gratitude, next meeting that you lead. Ask everyone in the meeting to go aroundand share something that they’re grateful for in that moment and see what happens to the mood when you uplift by being in gratitude.

Marcus Nichols, a senior partner at Culture Partners, sent a note out to everyone on Thanksgiving that said, we are never happier than when we are being grateful.

So imagine what might be possible in your meeting if you start with some of the greatest happiness that you can achieve through gratitude, and then you get to work.
