Hello, culture leaders. Here is your weekly culture challenge for this week.

Next time you have a team meeting, the bigger the better, the more people on the call, the better. Ask everyone to take their phones out. Give them a moment to express gratitude to someone in their lives. Whether they send a text saying, I love you unexpectedly, or just saying something that they’re grateful for to someone in their life, or even saying, I’m sorry, perhaps. What you’re doing is creating an experience that will lead…those employees to hold the belief that you care about them beyond just their productivity. You care about them as a whole person. And when we put ourselves in the mindset of gratitude, we create a better mindset for the beginning of the meeting. So it is a win-win and let me know how it goes.
